About the role
NXP Israel is seeking a Director of Front-End (FE) Engineering to lead the RTL and DV efforts for next‑generation SoC MCU projects. The role spans teams in Israel and India and includes oversight of external contractors worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Lead RTL and DV development for SoC projects across Israeli and Indian teams.
- Manage multi‑disciplinary engineering groups and external contractors globally.
- Set priorities, define objectives, and monitor progress within an agile framework.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to managers and individual engineers.
Required profile
- Minimum 20 years of experience in hardware design and verification.
- Proven experience managing multi‑country engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- RTL design and verification (DV) knowledge.
- UVM methodology.
- Cadence and Synopsys simulation and verification tools.
- Python programming (advantage).
