Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Itron’s Resiliency Solutions business is building a digital platform that connects field, office, and enterprise systems for utility providers worldwide. As a Senior Frontend Engineer you will create dynamic, responsive, and user‑friendly web applications that power this platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale web applications using Angular and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver optimal user experiences.
• Implement and expand proprietary APIs used by multiple clients.
• Develop services for existing Frontend and Mobile clients.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate cutting‑edge technologies into the product stack.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, advanced CSS, and HTML.
• 2+ years building rich, large‑scale web applications with Angular.
• Strong knowledge of responsive UI, cross‑browser compatibility, and web application architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
