Senior Data Engineer

About the role

AppsFlyer’s Web Attribution team is expanding its data platform to power advertisers with accurate, real‑time insights across web and mobile. As a Senior Data Engineer you will own the technical direction of large‑scale pipelines, become the go‑to expert for Spark and data modeling, and help shape a product used daily by marketers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end pipelines that ingest and process billions of web events with strict freshness and accuracy SLAs.
• Lead technical design and architecture, produce design docs, and make trade‑offs between SQL and Spark processing.
• Collaborate with the team lead on roadmap, break projects into deliverables, and represent the team in cross‑functional technical discussions.
• Own production incidents from detection to lasting fixes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in data/big data engineering, building production systems at scale.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Apache Spark, including execution plans, partitioning, and performance debugging.
• Strong experience with cloud analytical warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks SQL); BigQuery is a strong advantage.
