Senior Communication Trainer – EU Policy Outreach

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Communication Trainer to support the EU’s outreach and engagement project across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The expert will join a pool of qualified professionals mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis to strengthen the visibility and impact of EU policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Facilitate capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Lead interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants’ learning needs and adapt training content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes, produce post‑training reports and recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, media or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years experience designing and delivering training seminars.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English and French and/or Arabic, as relevant.
