Senior Bookkeeper

About the role

Eitan Medical is a fast‑growing global medical device company developing innovative drug delivery and infusion solutions. We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join the Finance team and manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping in a multi‑currency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT reports and income tax advance payments.
• Manage accounting interface with local and international suppliers, ensuring accurate records and controls.
• Review and control customs broker invoices and import documentation.
• Handle employee expense reimbursements and international travel expenses.
• Lead intercompany reconciliations with global entities on a monthly basis.
• Perform cut‑off reconciliations and prepare journal entries for month‑end closing.
• Manage customer credit notes, invoice cancellations, and service invoices while maintaining financial controls.
• Maintain fixed asset records, enter data into the RAM system, and record depreciation entries.
• Lead the collection process for customers in Israel.
• Support external auditors by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Bookkeeping Certificate, Type 2 or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior bookkeeping position.
• Independent bookkeeping experience through trial balance, including intercompany reconciliations and multi‑currency transactions.

Required skills

• Experience with a multi‑currency ERP system.
• VAT reporting and income tax advance payment preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills for handling complex spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One (nice to have).
