Senior Bookkeeper – Israel & US

About the role

Greenfield Partners is seeking a full‑time Senior Bookkeeper to join its Tel Aviv office, supporting both Israeli and US management companies. The role will own the complete accounting cycle, work closely with the Financial Controller, and provide critical payroll, AP, and reporting functions across two jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑cycle bookkeeping in Priority (Israel) and QuickBooks Online (US), including monthly close, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Manage multi‑currency (ILS/USD) and intercompany billing and reconciliation between Israeli and US entities.
• Run end‑to‑end Israeli payroll, handling pensions, study funds, severance, leave, new hires, separations, and statutory filings.
• Oversee US payroll via PEO (ADP TotalSource / Deel), including onboarding, changes, terminations, and payroll tax reconciliation.
• Handle AP, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, approval flows, payment runs, corporate card and expense management in Mesh, and wire preparation.
• Prepare budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis, ad‑hoc payroll, vendor, software spend, and FX exposure reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation using AI tools, Excel, and system integrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, including hands‑on Israeli payroll.
• Israeli certified bookkeeper (Type 3) and certified payroll controller (chashav sachar).
• Experience maintaining both Israeli and US books, preferably with US payroll through a PEO or EOR.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Highly organized, independent, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning the books alone.
