Security Manager (Mgr‑Security I)

About the role

The Security Manager supports the Director of Security in daily operations, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and property assets at a hotel in Herzliya. The role involves overseeing security staff, handling incidents, and maintaining compliance with legal and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing emergency procedures and security protocols.
• Deploy and supervise security personnel to monitor and protect property assets.
• Investigate property losses, document incidents, and coordinate with management for resolution.
• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises and parking areas.
• Maintain logs, certifications, and required documentation in line with SOPs.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve conflicts, and ensure a safe environment.
• Inspect security equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide timely medical assistance and maintain first‑aid/CPR certifications.
• Prepare reports on accidents, liability incidents, and security breaches.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Criminal Justice (or related field) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead security teams and conduct investigations.
• Strong knowledge of local criminal activity trends and safety regulations.

Required skills

• First‑aid certification.
• CPR certification.
• Operation and inspection of security equipment (e.g., CCTV, access‑control systems).
• Incident reporting and documentation.
