Commission Analyst

About the role

We are expanding our Commissions team and need a detail‑oriented, data‑driven Commission Analyst to bridge business compensation plans and technical payout models.

Key responsibilities

• Translate sales compensation plan rules, exceptions, and edge cases into clear, technically implementable logic and vice‑versa.
• Synchronize source data, generate reports, process account/contract changes, and implement approved compensation adjustments.
• Quality‑assure calculations, review payroll files before sign‑off, and partner with RevOps for cycle‑close data validation.
• Build dashboards and reports tracking payout trends, attainment, and exceptions, and surface insights to shape commission policy.
• Develop and maintain AI‑augmented economic models and drive process improvements for efficiency and controls.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in commission processing, finance operations, or revenue operations.
• Experience with sales compensation or incentive plan administration and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize during high‑volume month/quarter ends, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and familiarity with BI tools.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with cloud data warehouses such as Athena or BigQuery.
• Python for data analysis, automation, and modeling.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Jira or similar ticketing system experience.
• Interest in AI/ML tools and data automation.
