Robotic Startup Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Robotic Startup Specialist to lead the integration of the HUGO™ robotic assisted surgery system into hospitals across Israel. The role involves building new robotic programs, expanding existing ones, and ensuring successful adoption by clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with hospital stakeholders to define program goals and metrics for the HUGO™ RAS system.
• Develop and execute surgeon and staff training plans, including coordination of off‑site training and proctored cases.
• Support technology adoption by attending cases during learning sessions and providing on‑site assistance.
• Apply change‑management techniques to engage clinical stakeholders and secure buy‑in.
• Coach hospital staff to achieve self‑sufficiency and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Medtronic field service engineers to prepare operating rooms for the system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or related field.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew; additional languages are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in operating rooms or with surgical procedures.
• Willingness to travel throughout Israel (>75% of time), including remote northern locations.
