Purchasing Buyer

About the role

Variscite, a leader in embedded computing, is looking for a Purchasing Buyer to support its manufacturing plant in Kiryat Gat. The role is responsible for procuring components, electronic circuits, and production equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of materials for high‑tech, medical, industrial, and automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Enter purchase orders and track inventory using the Priority ERP system.
• Run and analyze MRP to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain regular contact with existing suppliers, obtain quotes and samples, and source new suppliers.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and manage logistics with shipping companies and customs authorities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as production, production planning & control, and R&D.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a purchasing agent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably Priority.
• Strong personal accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Relevant academic degree.
