About the role

The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology seeks a distinguished scholar to join its faculty as a Professor Emeritus. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Haifa District and focuses on continued research excellence, mentorship, and strategic academic contributions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced research projects and publish scholarly work in high‑impact venues.
• Mentor faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students.
• Supervise research initiatives and guide interdisciplinary collaborations.

Required profile

• Extensive academic experience with a distinguished record of research and publications.
• Proven teaching excellence at the university level and experience mentoring early‑career scholars.
• Leadership experience in academic committees, program development, or institutional initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and cultures.
• International reputation demonstrated by awards, invited talks, or professional society leadership.
• Prior appointment as a full professor and eligibility for emeritus status under Technion policies.
