About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Product Planner to manage global spares demand planning for its extensive product portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring clean demand signals, high‑quality forecasting, and effective process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee global spares demand planning and ensure demand signals are accurately mapped to locations.
- Maintain high‑quality forecasting performance and address short‑term process gaps.
- Define control mechanisms to capture process anomalies using advanced analytics.
- Manage demand transitions across the network to minimize risk and maintain service levels.
- Monitor and report demand and forecasting KPIs under supervision.
- Collaborate with regional planning, product planning, and systems teams to ensure accurate demand signals.
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
- 1–2 years of experience in operational or planning roles.
- Strong analytical thinking, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
