Product Engineer – NPI & Mass Production

About the role

We are seeking a Product Engineer to own the transition of next‑generation chip‑based IoT sensor products from R&D design to high‑volume manufacturing. The role combines hardware validation, test development, and production scaling across global contract manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI and product engineering activities, moving IoT sensor designs to mass production.
• Define, develop, and deploy test methodologies, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and validation flows at Tier‑1 contract manufacturers.
• Bridge design, RF validation, data analytics, and shop‑floor execution to improve yield, reliability and performance.
• Use statistical analysis and production metrics to track yield trends, conduct root‑cause investigations and resolve manufacturing anomalies.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles to streamline assembly lines, reduce test cycle times and lower costs.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, test specifications, SOPs and quality guidelines.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Physics or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in product engineering, test engineering, system integration or NPI scale‑up.
• Proven track record in high‑volume manufacturing environments with global Tier‑1 vendors.
• Strong data and statistical analysis capabilities (yield analysis, SPC, Cpk/Ppk, JMP, Python, SQL).
• Deep understanding of DFM and DFT principles.
• Experience with IoT devices, semiconductor products, RF/wireless communications or microelectronics is a plus.
