Procurement Manager

About the role

Negotiates with suppliers, verifies and authorizes purchase requisitions and orders, and advises other departments on purchasing procedures while maintaining up‑to‑date inventory information for a hotel in Herzliya, Israel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier and vendor relations: obtain quotations, coordinate site visits, maintain market information, select reliable food and beverage suppliers, attend tasting panels, prepare contracts and negotiate rebates.
• Oversee procurement activities: verify and authorize orders, place and expedite deliveries, prepare tender invitations, compare bids, source alternative products with competitive pricing, and ensure quality standards.
• Produce monthly cost‑saving reports for the Finance Director and explore green procurement opportunities, contributing to recycling initiatives.
• Attend exhibitions and seminars to source new suppliers and products that offer better price‑performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, or a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Hebrew.
• Previous work experience in Israel.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory management.
