Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to design, evaluate and optimise production processes at our Dimona facility. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing waste and ensuring product quality for Vishay’s semiconductor and passive component lines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve production processes in line with product specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and analyse process issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Create and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and R&D teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Train and mentor production and maintenance teams on new processes and equipment.
• Run engineering experiments to qualify new processes, raw materials and equipment.
• Perform statistical analysis for change validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Machinery/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in process engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of statistics and industry regulations/standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• High‑level proficiency in English (spoken and written).
