Control Planner – Costing & Inventory Management

About the role

Nova is seeking a Control Planner to join its operations organization and take ownership of costing, cost analysis, and inventory management. The role is part of the Supply Chain team and works closely with Operations and Finance to drive cost and inventory performance, accuracy, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze daily Work Order variances against standard costing and BOM, identifying discrepancies and driving corrective actions.
• Perform monthly cost analysis of purchased items to uncover trends, discrepancies, and savings opportunities.
• Execute and validate overhead corrections, manual cost adjustments, and miscellaneous inventory transactions while ensuring data integrity.
• Analyze and manage slow/dead inventory, including review meetings, transfers, write‑offs, and disposal activities.
• Support end‑of‑life activities such as stock updates, Last Time Buy coordination, and urgent material issue resolution.
• Lead inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, present findings, and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in planning, material availability, or demand analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and material planning processes.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud / Oracle Fusion Cloud (Planning, Inventory, Costing, or Supply Chain modules) is an advantage.
• Strong Excel and data‑analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
