Part-Time Boarding Parent

About the role

The Walworth Barbour American International School is seeking a part‑time Boarding Parent to support its weekday boarding program on the Even Yehuda campus. The role provides evening supervision, assistance with meals, homework help, and a positive adult presence for up to ten high‑school students.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor students’ whereabouts between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Monday‑Thursday.
• Assist with dinner preparation, serve meals, and clean up.
• Share dinner with students and the Director of Boarding and engage in conversation.
• Provide homework assistance and act as a supportive mentor.
• Communicate with families as needed and substitute for the Director of Boarding when required.
• Organise weekly transportation to Jerusalem on Friday afternoons.
• Enforce boarding house and school rules and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• Experience working with high‑school‑aged children.
• Fluent English; Hebrew speaking is preferred.
• Child‑safeguarding training (provided by the school).
• Ability to act as a positive role model and maintain a respectful, dignified environment.
