Operator – EMED (Offshore Production)

About the role

The Operator – EMED will oversee daily production at an offshore facility, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment and systems. The role requires a safety‑first mindset, proactive ownership, and a continuous‑improvement attitude while working in a hazardous, multitasking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment, performing both routine and non‑routine tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and identify hazards through toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Support unplanned events, troubleshoot operational problems, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Record and inventory production supplies and report surface staining on tanks and equipment.
• Read and interpret as‑built P&IDs, SAFE charts, and cause‑and‑effect diagrams.
• Perform basic analysis of process safety management data and efficiency trends.
• Utilize computerized systems such as SAP, D2, Enablon, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Execute MOC and RIK processes and conduct level 1 and level 2 hazard analyses.

Required profile

• Previous experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Physical ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Experience with rotating or fixed equipment is an advantage.
• Hazmat PIC certification and rigger/slinger certification are advantageous.
• Prior experience in oil & gas operations is a plus.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.
