About the role
The Night Manager/Assistant Manager acts as the Property Manager on Duty, overseeing all hotel operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures the highest standards of hospitality, resolves guest issues, and maintains safe, efficient property functions throughout the night.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor property operations, enforce uniform and grooming standards, ensure safety compliance, and manage period‑end inventories.
- Review financial statements and activity reports to support profitability, handle guest issues, oversee cash handling, chargebacks, and invoice aging.
- Promote employee attendance, morale, and safety programs; assist supervisors with performance reviews and payroll processing.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related area.
- Or an associate degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
