Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) – Immunology

About the role

This position is based in Israel and reports to Novartis. The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will act as a scientific ambassador in the Immunology therapeutic area, fostering peer‑to‑peer exchange with healthcare professionals and medical experts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Medical Expert engagement plans aligned with therapeutic‑area strategic priorities, identifying and involving key medical experts and accounts.
• Conduct unbiased, evidence‑based scientific exchange with HCPs and MEs, sharing up‑to‑date medical information, disease knowledge, clinical data and publications.
• Support education activities such as hospital staff meetings, regional scientific events, symposia and other educational initiatives.
• Collect, synthesize and communicate actionable external insights from clinical practice, scientific discussions and competitive activities to inform local and regional medical strategy.
• Contribute scientific insights to country medical plans and disease‑area strategies while monitoring the therapeutic landscape and competitor environment.
• Identify and qualify potential study sites, facilitating communication between sites and internal teams to support evidence generation and clinical research.
• Build and maintain partnerships with medical experts, scientific societies, academic institutions and other stakeholders to strengthen scientific leadership.
• Provide internal partners with clinical context, data interpretation, training and cross‑functional scientific support.
• Ensure all engagements, materials and documentation comply with regulatory, medical governance and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, DVM, DMD, PhD in Life Sciences).
• Relevant experience in immunology or a related therapeutic area.
• Ability to work primarily in the field and travel as required.
