Medical Science Liaison – Metabolic Diseases (Israel)

About the role

Join a leading pharmaceutical company as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on the GLP‑1 and Metabolic Diseases pipeline in Israel. You will act as the scientific bridge between Novo Nordisk and healthcare professionals, translating cutting‑edge research into meaningful clinical conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Stay current on scientific and clinical developments in GLP‑1 and metabolic diseases and serve as the internal expert.
• Identify, engage, and build long‑term relationships with HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders across multiple specialties.
• Lead high‑level scientific dialogues, generate medical insights, and feed them into medical and brand strategies.
• Plan and execute field activities, including educational events for the scientific community.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Sales, and Marketing to ensure coordinated, science‑driven engagement.

Required profile

• Advanced doctoral degree in health sciences (DVM, PhD, PharmD or equivalent).
• Proven scientific communication and relationship‑building abilities with KOLs and HCPs.
• Proactive, insight‑driven mindset with strong collaborative skills.
• Business acumen to translate field insights into actionable strategy.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of metabolic disease therapeutics, especially GLP‑1 agents.
