Mechanical Technician

About the role

Mentee Robotics, part of Mobileye, is developing the MenteeBot – an AI‑first humanoid robot designed to work alongside people in everyday environments. We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our multidisciplinary team and help bring the robot from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑assembly integration of humanoid robots, including mechanical sub‑systems and cable harnesses.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robotic hardware, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, software and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Fabricate and solder wires and components onto PCBs, and create cable harnesses.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions to guide the build process.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Mechanical Technician or Electronics Technician with a mechanical focus.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical assembly and integration.
• Proven experience with robotics hardware, especially multi‑joint or humanoid systems.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical and comfortable working on complex assembly tasks.
