Mechanical Engineer – Medical Device R&D

About the role

This position is aimed at engineers in the early stages of their career who enjoy hands‑on work and want to grow into broader system responsibilities. You will design and develop mechanical components and sub‑assemblies for complex CT machine detection systems, taking ownership from concept through production support.

Key responsibilities

• Create CAD models and detailed drawings, prototype parts, and support manufacturing transfer.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic finite‑element analysis.
• Test, troubleshoot, and document mechanical units and subsystems of small to medium scope.
• Prepare engineering documentation such as specifications, drawings, and test reports.
• Analyze subsystem challenges and propose mechanical solutions, participating in system‑level design reviews.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical engineering field.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Professional CAD tools (CREO, Pro‑E or equivalent).
• Design of metal parts, including casting and machining considerations.
• Basic FEA and tolerance analysis.
• Hand calculations and mechanical documentation (specifications, test protocols).
• Knowledge of IDEAS and experience in medical‑device environments is a plus.
