Manufacturing Operator – Bio‑Process (Bioreactor/Fermenter)

About the role

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for its bio‑process team in Rehovot, Israel. The role focuses on scaling up and executing fermentation and downstream processes that produce diagnostic proteins. You will work on‑site, operating specialised equipment and ensuring smooth campaign execution from set‑up to harvest.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor bioreactors, fermenters, mixers, centrifuges and purification systems (AKTA, TFF) during production runs.
• Introduce raw materials, mix batches, and harvest cells according to defined procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and minor fault troubleshooting of equipment.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions and quality system requirements to meet production timelines and quantities.
• Document batch data and maintain a clean work environment.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating equipment in biotech, pharmaceutical or food‑tech environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, routine‑driven setting.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Proficiency reading technical documentation in English.
