Maintenance & Calibration Technician – MedTech Production

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Biosurgery is seeking a Maintenance and Calibration Technician to ensure the reliable operation of utilities and production equipment at its plant in Nes‑Ziona, Israel. The role focuses on maintaining high‑quality standards for medical‑device manufacturing while supporting safe and efficient production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance and repairs on plant utilities and production equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain a wide range of equipment used in production and laboratories, including temperature sensors, pressure gauges, scales, and analytical instruments.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions to keep machinery operating safely and accurately.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently, complies with regulatory requirements, and delivers precise measurements.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality control, and maintenance teams to solve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and calibration activities, parts used, and preventive measures taken.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with equipment or utility systems in a pharmaceutical or medical‑device manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of production equipment and utility infrastructure.
• Proven ability to work safely and adhere to regulatory standards.
