Legal Counsel – Commercial & Privacy

About the role

Neema is looking for a Legal Counsel to support its commercial and privacy matters across the full data lifecycle. You will work closely with product teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Israeli and international regulations while enabling business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as service contracts, partnership agreements, data processing agreements and NDAs.
• Manage the vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, risk classification, SLA implementation and periodic controls.
• Support Neema’s privacy framework, ensuring readiness for evolving data‑protection laws and reviewing new products and features.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal counsel to teams, focusing on compliance, customer service and regulatory reporting.
• Handle legal aspects of fraud events, third‑party matters and official regulatory inquiries.
• Develop and maintain the legal team’s knowledge base, including templates, playbooks and internal policies.

Required profile

• LLB and admission to the Israel Bar Association.
• Up to 2 years of post‑qualification experience, with exposure to commercial and/or privacy work.
• Strong drafting skills and experience with contracts involving vendors, customers or partners.
• Full professional fluency in Hebrew and English, including precise legal drafting.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to translate legal risk into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to convey legal processes in clear guidance for non‑legal teams.
• Independence, organization and initiative to manage multiple matters in parallel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative communication with stakeholders at all levels.
