Legal Counsel – Business Development & Litigation

About the role

Plus500 is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel with strong litigation experience to join its Business Development team. The role blends the management of cross‑border litigation matters with strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, new market entry, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with external law firms and advisors.
• Review legal claims, court filings, and assess litigation risks to shape the Group’s position.
• Provide legal and regulatory support to internal teams, including Compliance.
• Support strategic business initiatives, including acquisitions, establishment of new entities, and expansion into additional jurisdictions.
• Prepare management materials, internal analyses, and summaries for senior leadership.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a leading university.
• Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in international and cross‑border litigation, preferably from a top‑tier law firm.
• Prior in‑house legal counsel experience at an international company is a plus.
• Proven ability to advise multinational companies on international legal matters.
