Junior International Sales Engineer – Silvus, Remote (Israel)

About the role

Silvus Technologies, part of Motorola Solutions, is looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to work remotely with the Sales, Marketing and Business Development teams. The role supports customers with tailored solutions for Silvus' multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking products, taking part in technical sales, demonstrations and support. It suits an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys working with customers and travelling. The position is 100% remote and candidates must be based in Israel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning, customer training and system optimisation.
• Become an expert on Silvus' radio and networking solutions and their advantages over competing technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals and other operational materials.
• Prepare and run product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites for technical support and training, and troubleshoot field failures.
• Analyse field failures and feed back to the development team, and help design engineers reproduce and fix problems.
• Help allocate resources and maintain hardware, and contribute to product development.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events and demonstrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or secondary education with at least 1 year of pre- and post-sales technical support experience.
• Fluent Hebrew and proficiency in English; eligibility for security clearances and willingness to travel to potential conflict areas.
• Background check required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Preferred: experience with IP radios/modems, Linux, TCP/IP and wireless/RF knowledge, hands-on drone/UAV experience, and C/C++.

Working conditions

• Trade shows and outdoor demonstrations; occasional exposure to heat, cold and allergens in the field.
• Lifting equipment up to 50 lbs for set-up.
