Junior HR Operations Specialist

About the role

The HR Operations Specialist (Junior) in Israel will serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR processes across the employee lifecycle while maintaining compliance with Israeli labour law and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main HR point of contact for day‑to‑day queries on policies, benefits, leave, performance and employee‑lifecycle matters.
• Coordinate onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, mobility, organizational changes and off‑boarding, ensuring all actions comply with Israeli labour legislation, collective agreements and internal policies.
• Support employee‑relations issues including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance problems and terminations, partnering with managers, HR leadership and legal counsel when needed.
• Maintain accurate HR records and transactions in the HR information system, prepare reports, monitor key HR metrics and assist with audits and statutory reporting.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Benefits, Payroll and HRIS teams to aid recruitment, compensation review cycles, promotion and bonus administration, benefits programs and resolution of HR system issues.
• Contribute to local initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Israeli labour legislation and collective agreements.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with employees, managers and unions.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across HR centres of expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS).
• Experience preparing HR reports and workforce analytics.
• Familiarity with HR compliance and employee‑relations processes.
