Junior Embedded Software Engineer – Graviton

About the role

Join the AWS Graviton software team at Annapurna Labs and help build the next generation of embedded platforms that power Amazon’s cloud services. As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer you will contribute to software architecture, develop features for high‑performance CPUs, memory and I/O subsystems, and collaborate across hardware and software groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test embedded software components for Graviton‑based platforms.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate high‑speed memory and I/O interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and performance optimization.
• Assist in defining software architecture and documentation for new platform features.
• Support cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable operation of cloud‑focused services.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in embedded systems and cloud‑infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and learn new technologies quickly.

Required skills

• Embedded software development experience.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing concepts.
