Senior Quantum Control Engineer – Superconducting Qubits

About the role

As a Senior Quantum Control Engineer at Anyon Systems you will shape the performance of next‑generation superconducting quantum processors. You will work hands‑on with hardware, designing pulse‑level control and calibration techniques that directly impact our customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise microwave pulse sequences for single‑ and two‑qubit gates.
• Develop robust calibration routines that tolerate drift and noise.
• Build physics‑based models of qubit dynamics and control errors.
• Collaborate with FPGA engineers to implement real‑time control solutions.
• Partner with AI researchers to enable closed‑loop calibration workflows.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in quantum control or experimental quantum computing.
• Proficiency in Python and scientific computing tools.
• Experience with superconducting qubits is strongly preferred.

Required skills
