Junior Embedded Software Engineer – Cloud Networking

About the role

Join Annapurna Labs, an Amazon Web Services semiconductor team, as a Junior Embedded Software Engineer. You will contribute to the next generation of networking hardware that powers the world’s largest cloud provider, working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate features for next‑generation hardware to achieve high network bandwidth, packets‑per‑second performance, and low latency.
• Bring up a variety of instance types optimized for different CPU, memory, storage, and networking configurations.
• Shape architecture definitions and software system designs, and resolve complex customer issues.
• Monitor AWS cloud health, maintain high‑quality standards, and write highly optimized code.
• Provide exceptional customer satisfaction through technical support and issue resolution.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (grade sheet required).
• Team player, highly motivated, creative, fast learner, and comfortable in a dynamic, demanding environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C programming language.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Hands‑on experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience with hardware/software interfaces at board and chip level.
• Understanding of computer architecture.
