Junior Controller – Financial Reporting

About the role
We are looking for a Junior Controller to join Rapyd’s finance team. The role will support the monthly and annual financial close, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with GAAP.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly closing process, prepare working papers, calculate accruals and assemble reporting packages.
- Perform analytical procedures and review the accuracy of financial data.
- Manage statutory financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and coordinate the annual audit.
- Provide guidance to bookkeeping staff and monitor bookkeeping quality.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in a Big Four firm or a global FinTech company.
- Previous finance department experience in a high‑tech environment.
- Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and able to multitask.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes such as budgeting, financial closure and reporting.
- BSc/BA in Accounting (CPA preferred) and excellent written and spoken English.
