Integration Engineer (Core) - Metro Project

About the role

Egis, through its local partner METAV, is appointed as Network Manager for three new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv. As part of the Engineering Control team, the Integration Engineer (Core) joins the project on behalf of EGIS for the Jerusalem Blue Line LRT project, working across the V cycle (design, installation, testing and commissioning, reliability demonstration). The role coordinates and supervises all integration and interface work on the BL Common Junctions, in direct contact with Principal Railway Contractor stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Common Junctions engagement strategy and planning so that Principal Contractors work together seamlessly
• Act as focal point for Common Junctions and other assigned work packages, inside and outside EGIS
• Monitor the Project Company to deliver an integrative approach that meets contract requirements
• Coordinate with stakeholders so integration requirements are fully captured and managed
• Attend integration and interface meetings with designers, contractors and interfacing parties
• Check that deliverables from Principal Contractors meet requirements and standards, and challenge them daily
• Report progress and risks systematically to the Client and the Integration Manager

Required profile

• Degree in engineering
• Previous multi-disciplinary experience, including at least one modern tramway project, with system integration (trackside and onboard) across the full lifecycle
• Experience with CSD drawings and federated BIM models (an advantage)
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Hebrew preferred
• Well organised, self-motivated, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Full literacy in technical drawings and reports
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
• Knowledge of Mezzoteam (an advantage); Middle East experience (an advantage)
