About the role
The In‑Room Dining Server provides attentive food and beverage service to guests staying at the hotel. You will ensure each course and drink is delivered promptly, accurately, and with the high standards expected by The Ritz‑Carlton.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests, setting tables according to event type and service standards.
- Answer guest questions on menu selections and communicate any special dietary needs to the kitchen.
- Record orders in the MICROS system and present accurate checks for payment.
- Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
- Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
