Front-End Engineer

About the role

As a Front-End Engineer at Via, you will help build and evolve the Operation Center – the real‑time hub that powers millions of public‑transport rides worldwide. You will own the user‑facing experience, working with a modern stack and a team that values high‑quality craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Own and evolve the frontend architecture for new components and workflows.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Mentor peers, drive technical decisions, and shape front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building complex, modern web applications.
• High‑agency mindset: you own problems end‑to‑end and thrive in ambiguous situations.
• Strong team player: comfortable communicating technical concepts across functions.
