Freelance Hebrew Teacher for Children (In-Person, Nordia)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Hebrew language teacher to provide in‑person lessons for two children living in Nordia, Israel. The role is freelance and focuses on supporting the learners’ schoolwork and advancing their speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1‑2 individual Hebrew lessons per week for each child (1.5 hours per lesson).
• Provide language support tailored to school assignments.
• Develop the younger learner’s basic speaking and 1st‑grade reading/writing abilities.
• Maintain and enhance the older learner’s fluent speaking and 2nd‑grade reading/writing proficiency.
• Adapt lesson plans to each child’s availability in the evenings (16:00‑20:00).

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching Hebrew to young learners.
• Experience or proven ability to teach Hebrew language skills to children.
• Flexible to work evenings on Mondays‑Thursdays as outlined.
• Based in or able to travel to Nordia for in‑person sessions.

Required skills

• Strong command of Hebrew (basic to fluent) and ability to teach speaking, reading, and writing.
• Knowledge of elementary Hebrew curriculum aligned with school grades.
