Flight Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Flight Test Engineer to join our defense organization’s UAS program, working from our sites in Haifa and Modiin. You will be at the forefront of unmanned aerial systems technology, leading end‑to‑end flight testing and directly contributing to the fielding of breakthrough systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead flight tests in close collaboration with engineering development teams.
• Define instrumentation and data acquisition requirements.
• Author test plans, flight cards, debriefs and comprehensive test reports.
• Manage test execution in the field, including analysis and interpretation of recorded data.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Aeronautics & Space, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering (M.Sc. advantageous).
• Proven experience in the UAS domain (operational, technical, training or administrative) – advantage.
• High‑level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willingness to travel abroad for periods of a week or more.
• Readiness to work in the field and during non‑standard hours.
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions under uncertainty, and collaborate effectively in a team.
