Financial Controller – Digital Banking

About the role

ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, is seeking a Financial Controller to join its fast‑growing finance team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, enforcing robust controls, and supporting regulatory compliance in an AI‑driven banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and capital adequacy ratios.
• Compile monthly management and Board of Directors reports.
• Submit accurate financial statements to the Bank of Israel in line with all regulations.
• Enforce financial reporting controls to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare the bank’s annual tax report and related disclosures.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing reporting processes.
• Background in banking or financial institutions is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
