Controller – Global Accounting Lead

About the role

PointFive is an AI Efficiency OS that helps engineering and FinOps teams manage AI spend across the cloud and coding agents. The Controller will own the global accounting function for all legal entities and offices, reporting to the Director of Finance and collaborating with Legal, HR, RevOps, auditors and tax advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, including intercompany eliminations and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS subscription contracts, marketplace transactions and channel/reseller economics.
• Run the external audit end‑to‑end, from PBC preparation through auditor liaison and issue resolution.
• Oversee tax compliance across jurisdictions, including Israeli statutory filings, US state obligations and cross‑border withholding.
• Support payroll oversight for Israel, US, UK and other locations, handling cross‑border edge cases.
• Build and document internal controls with a focus on SOX‑readiness as the company scales.
• Assist with cash management, banking relationships and board‑level financial reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Controller in a global, multi‑entity organization.
• CPA license (Israeli or equivalent) with strong knowledge of US GAAP; Israeli GAAP/tax familiarity is a plus.
• Proven multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidation experience, especially between Israel and the US.
• Background in a high‑growth SaaS/technology company.
• Experience leveraging AI in finance systems and processes.
