Investment Banking Associate – Israel Coverage (Tel Aviv)

About the role

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate for its Israel Investment Banking Division in Tel Aviv. The role involves supporting a range of transactions for Israeli private and public companies, as well as investors such as venture capital and private equity firms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships while participating in advisory teams.
• Create and analyze financial models, perform company valuations, and support M&A, IPO, and private capital raise transactions.
• Organize and prepare client presentations that explain industry trends and strategic recommendations.
• Manage transaction processes, coordinate tax advisors, attorneys, and other bankers, and lead due‑diligence efforts.
• Assist in structuring transactions, maintain client communication, and participate in negotiations of legal documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of investment banking or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive client‑service mindset.
• Strong team orientation with the ability to work across multiple groups and regions.
• Desire to live and work in Israel; knowledge of Hebrew is a plus.
