Financial Controller (CPA)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller with experience in the IT/high‑tech industry to own the financial and accounting operations of our Israeli entity and oversee selected financial processes across our international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations for the Israeli entity, including VAT, payroll, payments, expenses and income.
• Perform bank, balance‑sheet and account reconciliations and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and review P&L statements and financial reports, ensuring compliance with Israeli accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee accounting processes and coordinate the work of local accountants in Serbia and Ukraine.
• Manage global payment processing across Israeli and international bank accounts (US, Cyprus) and monitor cash flow, balances and cross‑border transfers.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations between group entities.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors and other financial partners to provide accurate and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on accounting experience in Israel, preferably in an IT/high‑tech company.
• Experience overseeing accounting processes and local or external accountants in international operations.
• Practical knowledge of Israeli VAT, payroll, payments, reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Experience managing international bank accounts, cross‑border payments and multi‑currency transactions.
• Proficiency with P&L preparation and financial reporting, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Fluent Hebrew and good English communication skills.
• Independent, highly accurate and comfortable combining hands‑on accounting with international financial oversight.
