Controller – Financial Reporting & Management

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to lead the preparation of financial statements, manage accounts receivable and cash, and drive internal reporting and controls under the CFO’s direction. The role also includes payroll oversight, option grant administration, and coordination with auditors to ensure compliance with financing agreements and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and manage A/R, cash management, and budgeting processes.
• Oversee payroll, option grants and other finance‑related processes.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day relationships with independent auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
• Ensure timely tax reporting for income, sales and employment taxes.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including cash receipts, disbursements, vendor and customer management, and banking oversight.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including internships, preferably in a Big 4 environment.
• Degree in Accounting and a valid CPA certification.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with US GAAP and preferably within the SaaS/software industry.
