Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join Tower Semiconductor as an Equipment Maintenance Technician, supporting the reliability and performance of high‑value analog semiconductor production equipment. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, handling both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements on semiconductor equipment.
• Work across electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers, Area Managers, Procurement, and Operations to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Support production by ensuring equipment uptime and reliability.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving reliability, reducing costs, and enhancing safety.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, electronically and/or mechanically inclined.
• Strong focus on root‑cause analysis of technical problems.
• Creative, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
• Assertive with a high learning ability.
• Willingness to work shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good technical English proficiency.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.

Required skills

• Practical Engineer education in Machinery, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industry or military settings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, electronic systems, mechanical systems, and pneumatics.
