Material Planning Analyst

About the role

Flex is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to support its diversified manufacturing operations. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining material and purchasing data, coordinating contracts, and ensuring supplier compliance while providing critical data insights to production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and validate material, purchasing, and supply data for accuracy.
• Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics, and charts from multiple data sources such as bills of material, PPV metrics, and staff metrics.
• Create and maintain databases to support data collection and reporting.
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues, including quotation discrepancies.
• Track material financial performance and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Review RMA transactions daily and generate weekly purchase orders for client parts.
• Maintain certificates of conformance for all suppliers and manage outsourced parts schedules.
• Support supply‑chain risk management for new product introductions and provide PPV targeting and asset velocity analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or a related discipline.
• Background in electronics manufacturing is preferred.
