Electronic Integrator

About the role

As an Electronic Integrator at GE Precision Healthcare LLC in Rehovot, you will assemble, test and troubleshoot complex electronic systems and modules used in advanced medical devices. The role calls for a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills and a commitment to quality and safety standards in a critical healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform intricate assembly of electronic components, sub-assemblies and final products according to engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Carry out functional testing, calibration and verification of electronic systems using specialized test equipment and software.
• Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot electronic malfunctions and component failures down to the root cause.
• Document test results, assembly procedures and repair activities accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on feedback for design for manufacturability and testability.
• Follow quality control procedures, regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, ISO) and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment and follow health and safety protocols.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives and help train new team members on assembly and testing.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as required.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Strong soldering skills (SMT and through-hole) and experience with rework techniques.
• Familiarity with IPC standards for electronics manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting complex electronic schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems.
