Distribution Center Manager

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is looking for a Distribution Center Manager in Kfar Saba, Israel. The DC Manager is accountable for strategic planning and day-to-day management of the distribution center, ensuring warehousing and logistics meet global, regional and local standards, managing the budget to optimise costs while keeping efficiency and quality, and leading the team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the cross-sector distribution center and transportation (inbound and outbound), including freight and the loaner kit facility
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, legislation and organisational policies
• Work with Quality and Compliance, EHS and SOX to enforce quality and safety procedures and regulatory compliance
• Manage site maintenance, infrastructure and operational continuity, with a focus on lean processes and safety
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and develop environmental initiatives
• Provide input on the DC budget, maintain cost controls and lead cost-improvement projects
• Plan and run annual and cycle inventory counts, and control monthly inventory adjustments in the ERP system, including write-offs
• Coordinate material flows with other departments, plan NPI launches and manage employee recruitment
• Lead safety committees, set up personal development plans for the team and manage people in line with the company's values

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Business Management
• Strong change management, listening, organisational, teamwork and leadership skills, able to lead a large, diverse team
• Strong oral and written English and customer orientation
• Ability to develop creative approaches in an ambiguous environment
