Material Planning Specialist (1-Year Temporary)

About the role

GE HealthCare is hiring a Material Planning Specialist in Haifa for a one-year temporary position, with potential for extension depending on business needs. The planner coordinates and expedites the flow of materials from suppliers and across internal departments to support production schedules, plans and schedules material requirements, ensures material availability, maintains inventory accuracy and supports operational excellence. The role combines demand planning, material change management and master scheduling, working closely with global headquarters and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Master Scheduler: manage and deploy production forecasts from global headquarters, break quarterly forecasts down to weekly levels based on production capacity, maintain forecast data in the ERP system and create a planning baseline for procurement and logistics.
• Materials Change Coordinator: lead supply chain activities for Engineering Change Orders (ECO), coordinate phase-in and phase-out activities to mitigate obsolescence, and manage the product lifecycle including part creation and structuring, interfacing with Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing and Service teams.
• MRP Infrastructure Maintenance: maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensure accuracy of MRP system settings and structures, and support system integrity for production planning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP).
• Proven experience in change management (ECO/ECR/ECN).
• Experience in forecasting and production planning.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Oracle ERP and Microsoft Excel (VBA is an advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, with high attention to detail.
