Director of Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Director of Sales and Business Development will lead Israeli foodservice and retail sales while driving global market expansion for Chunk Foods' branded and private‑label products across Europe, Asia and South America. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work independently with contractors and cross‑functional teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Israeli sales activities including promo planning, SKU selection, trade spend management, data analysis, order processing, inventory control and collections.
• Engage foodservice clients with product demos, rebate programmes and custom solutions; support local marketing and PR initiatives.
• Identify, negotiate and secure commercial partners (distributors, retailers, foodservice operators, private‑label partners) in the EU, APAC and LATAM.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline, represent Chunk Foods at trade events and media, and report results to the CEO.
• Collaborate with R&D and US sales teams to deliver market insights and ensure product compliance, certification and co‑manufacturing readiness for new territories.

Required profile

• 7+ years of commercial food‑industry experience (sales, BD or key‑account management); experience in alt‑protein or specialty products preferred.
• Proven success building commercial partnerships in Israel, the EU and APAC.
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship‑management skills; comfortable presenting to executive leadership and chefs.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
