Data Scientist

About the role

COMBLACK is seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement advanced predictive models, classification systems, and anomaly‑detection algorithms. You will work in a Big Data environment, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive core system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop statistical and mathematical models for forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection.
• Design and optimize algorithms that support data‑driven decision making.
• Analyze processes and data pipelines within large‑scale Big Data platforms.
• Lead the translation of models into production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and systems analysts to define KPIs and deliver insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data‑related roles, including at least 2 years as a Data Scientist.
• Proven track record of building forecasting, classification, and anomaly‑detection models.
• Strong SQL expertise and hands‑on experience with large databases and Big Data technologies.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to define business metrics.
• Experience in core‑systems projects or the public/government sector is a significant advantage.
